A Scripture and a Prayer: “Restore and Revive”

“Restore us, O Lord God of hosts; cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved … Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?” (Psalm 80:19; 85:6)

Prayer

Gracious Heavenly Father, I humbly ask for You to not only restore and revive your people, but will You please restore and revive Your church. We are in great need of such a restoration and revival. Evil is prevailing throughout the world as Satan has his hands all over the past pandemic, along with our present economic crisis, the wars in eastern Europe and Mideast, the social upheaval, and political strife, all of which has brought fear into the hearts of many, even within the hearts of Your people and in Your church. Therefore, Lord, will You please rend the heavens and come down to make Your name known so that the nations may tremble at Your presence. And will you please restore and revive Your people and Your church. This I ask in Jesus’s name. AMEN
