What is the Art of Marriage?
About Robert and Anne
Robert and Anne Coletti have been married for more than 33 years and are the parents of four children. Their own years of marriage have given them plenty of opportunities to experience both the joys and challenges of building a life together, and they love sharing what they have learned along the way.
For more than two decades, they have served with Family Life, and currently they serve as a Field Ministry Representatives, working with churches and couples throughout the nation. Together, they lead and support marriage ministry events, including FamilyLife’s, Weekend to Remember and The Art of Marriage. They have a passion for helping and encouraging couples at every stage of marriage—from newlyweds to empty nesters and those who have been married for decades.
They especially enjoy creating an atmosphere where couples can laugh, be honest about the challenges of marriage, and discover that God’s design for marriage is both practical and deeply meaningful. Their desire is simple: to help couples discover that a great marriage doesn’t happen by accident—it is built intentionally, with God at the center.
About FamilyLife
FamilyLife is a ministry of Cru, committed to helping families pursue the relationships that matter most. For more than 50 years, FamilyLife has equipped couples and families with biblical truth, practical tools, and experiences designed to help them grow closer to God and to one another. Our mission is “to effectively develop godly families who change the world one home at a time,” and its vision is “Every home a godly home.” Through marriage retreats, small-group studies, podcasts, articles, conferences, and other resources, FamilyLife comes alongside couples and families at every stage of life. Its goal is not simply to help couples have a better marriage, but to help them understand God’s design for marriage and family and live that out in their everyday lives.
One of our key resources is The Art of Marriage, a six-session experience designed to help couples explore the biblical foundations of marriage and put those truths into practice. The current Art of Marriage experience combines engaging video, real-life stories, discussion, personal reflection, date-night challenges, and biblical teaching. It is designed to work equally well for a marriage event, small group, or couples working through the material together. We believe that when marriages and families grow stronger, the impact reaches far beyond the home. Stronger marriages create stronger families, stronger churches, and stronger communities—ultimately helping families change the world one home at a time.
