Thought For Today: “Quality over Quantity”

With God it’s all about quality, not quantity!

“The Lord did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples.” (Deuteronomy 7:7)

The church and Christians are tempted to look at and trust in numbers. But this isn’t what God looks at. It says that the Lord is seeking those who “love Him and keep His commandments.” (Deuteronomy 7:9)

The idea that God is only blessing those who numbers and/or finances are great is false. What God is looking for are those who do justly, who love mercy, and who walk humbly with Him (Micah 6:8).

God can do great things with a few as well as He can do great things with many.

“For nothing restrains the Lord from saving by many or by few.” (1 Samuel 14:6)
