A Scripture and a Prayer: “Jesus Our Provision”

Jesus said, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.” (John 6:35)

Prayer:

Jesus, when tempted by Satan You gave us the truth of where true spiritual nourishment comes from. You said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God,’” Our nourishment comes directly from Your word. And it is from Your word of promise that You came, Lord Jesus, that whoever comes to You by faith shall never hunger or thirst again. Lord, may we continually come to You and to Your word to find the strength and sustenance to continue, and to live not only for You but through You as well. And Father, I ask this in Jesus’s name. AMEN
