A Scripture and a Prayer: “Hear Our Cry”

“O Lord, the God who saves me, day and night I cry out before you. May my prayer come before you; turn your ear to my cry.” (Psalm 88:1-2)

Prayer:

King David prayed, “Hear my cry, O God; attend to my prayer. From the end of the earth, I will cry to You, when my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For You have been a shelter for me, a strong tower from the enemy. I will abide in Your tabernacle forever; I will trust in the shelter of Your wings.” (Psalm 61:1-4) And so it is Lord, that we cry unto you day and night, like David, knowing that Your ear is always turned towards us, and that You hear our cry and prayer. Thank you, therefore, for this wonderful blessing and promise. AMEN
