We Need Holy Spirit Vision

Thought For Today: “We Need Holy Spirit Vision”

Holy Spirit Vision is an upward look toward God’s plan and purpose.

The vision is seen in the Great Commandment to love God with all of who we are, with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and then to love our neighbors as ourselves (Matthew 22:37-39). It is also seen in the Great Commission, as we go and make disciples by teaching them what Jesus commanded (Matthew 28:19-20).

Jesus said of the Holy Spirit, “And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me; of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.” (John 16:8-11)

How are we to catch and maintain this vision of what the Holy Spirit is doing and what He wants us to see? The Bible tells us to set our minds on the things above, not on the things on this earth (Colossians 3:2).

To keep our Holy Spirit vision from becoming blurred, we need to keep one eye on the White Throne Judgment of God and the other on the Judgment Seat of Christ. White Throne Judgment of God

This Sunday morning, we’ll explore our vision at Living Waters Fellowship.
