Scripture and a Prayer: “God Chooses Us”

“For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight.” (Ephesians 1:4)

Prayer

Dear Lord, we are humbled beyond words realizing just how great Your love is for us, in that even before we were born, even before You created the world, you chose us to be Yours, but not only Yours, but to be holy, separated from this world and blameless before You. Further, how awesome is Your love in that while we were dead in our trespasses and sins, You brought us back to life and made us alive in You. How immeasurable is Your love in that You chose and called us by Your marvelous grace. Thank you, Lord, for this great, wonderful, awesome, and immeasurable love You have shown. AMEN
