A Scripture and a Prayer: “Perseverance Required”

“Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.” (Revelation 3:10)

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, to realize that when we keep Your words and trust in You as our Savior and Lord, that You will keep us from the time of great trial coming upon this earth, the Great Tribulation. Therefore, help us not to be complacent when it comes to following You and Your word. Further, help us endure the hardships as good soldiers, and give us the patience to preserve even through the temptations and difficulties the enemy keeps sending our way. And in the end, You have promised that we will graduate from this earth and from this life because we passed the test through our faith, belief, and trust in You. Help us therefore to preserve through the trials of life, and this I ask in Your name, Lord Jesus. AMEN
