Scripture and a Prayer: “Nothing Can Separate”

“I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38-39)

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, like the father who cried out, “Lord, help my unbelief,” this is what we need to cry out to You as Satan takes our doubts and fears and tries to convince us that You don’t love us, and that we are not Yours. Lord, let this promise be a surety within us all that there is absolutely nothing that can separate us from Your love. Shine the light of Your love upon our lives and deliver us from all that is not of You. And this I ask in the name of Your beloved Son, Jesus Christ. AMEN
