A Scripture and a Prayer: “No Comparison”

“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” (Romans 8:18)

Prayer:

Lord, I know nothing happens that doesn’t pass through Your hands. I also know that You hold all things in Your hands, including us. But right now, many of us our suffering, surrounded by hardships, trials of various kinds, and difficulties that never seem to end. But when we compare these things to the magnificence of Your grace and mercy, You comfort our hearts with Your presence. Lord, please correct our perspective so we will realize that You have it all under control and that You are working Your plan for the glory of Your Kingdom. May we then be shining examples so others can see Your grace working in us and through us as we trust in You above all things. AMEN
