A Scripture and a Prayer: “It’s All About The Thanks”

“In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, Jesus tells us that in this world we will face tribulations and trials of all kinds, but we are also assured that all these things work together for our good when we love You with all our heart and are called according to Your purpose. We are also promised that You will be with us when we pass through rivers threatening to sweep us away, and fires that threaten to burn. And when we remain loyal through these times, You promise we’ll receive that crown of life at the end. So, what is there not to thank You for? May we always give You thanks, not only in good times but also in bad, as You are working out Your eternal purpose in our lives. AMEN
