Thought For Today: “Impossibilities are Possibilities with God”

What you consider impossible becomes possible with God.

Are you facing a situation that seems impossible? Has God given you a promise that now seems absolutely without hope? Is there something you’ve been told that is so far out there that it seems ludicrous to even consider?

Take a young girl named Mary. An angel tells her she’s pregnant. Talk about impossible. She never even kissed a fellow (Luke 1:34). But what Mary thought was impossible wasn’t impossible with God. The angel said, “For nothing is impossible with God” (Luke 1:37).

The prophet Jeremiah proclaimed, “Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You.” (Jeremiah 32:17)

Nothing is impossible with God. So what’s impossible in our lives? Does it involve our health, marriage, or children? Or are we so far in debt that the light at the end of the tunnel seems to have been turned off?

Therefore, instead of giving up, believe. Believe God for the impossible. We serve a miracle-working God.
