A Scripture and a Prayer: “How’s Our Behavior”
“Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness.” (2 Peter 3:11)
Prayer:
Lord, seeing that the time is short, and that Your return and judgment is close at hand, You are asking what we are doing, not only with the time that we have left, but what are we doing to make a difference through our speech and actions. Therefore, Lord, we are asking for Your help to be those living sacrifices holy and acceptable to You, which You say is our reasonable service. We are also humbly asking that You give us the courage to be more like Jesus, because Jesus is Your living definition of grace. May we, therefore, abide in You, so that we can be Your hands and feet to those who need Your touch. And Father, we are asking this in Jesus’s name. AMEN
