A Scripture and a Prayer: “Good Morning God”

“My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning I will direct it to You, and I will look up.” (Psalm 5:3)

Prayer:

Good morning, Lord. Thank you for another day that we can praise and worship You. Thank you for another day that we can learn more about You as we read Your word. Thank You Lord for another day where we can share Your love to someone who is in need. Thank you, Jesus, for going to the cross, for taking our place and dying in our stead, and forgiving our sins. And Thank You for the mercy and grace You have extended towards us as You promised that Your mercies are new every morning, and that we can now boldly come to Your throne of grace to receive mercy this day in our time of need. AMEN
