A Scripture and a Prayer: “God’s Preservation”

“As for You, O Lord, You will not restrain Your mercy from me; Your steadfast love and Your faithfulness will ever preserve me!” (Psalm 40:11)

Prayer:

Lord, because You are faithful, we can put our hope and trust that You will preserve us in these times of trials. I cannot imagine life without Your mercy, love, and truth, and how in Your mercy, love, and truth You have not only saved us, but You preserve and protect us as well. We are, therefore, forever thankful and grateful that You provide all three, mercy, love, and truth without reservation, because as You have said, no good thing will You withhold from those who love You and walk in Your ways. Therefore Lord, help us to be obedient to Your word, will, and ways. And this I ask in Jesus’s name. AMEN
