A Scripture and a Prayer: “God’s Open Door Policy”

“I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.” (Revelation 3:8)

Prayer:

Lord, how comforting and reassuring it is to know that you are intimately aware of everything that is going on in our lives, including our actions and efforts for Your kingdom, and how while we are weak, we have kept Your word and haven’t denied Your name. And how great it is that You continue to open doors of opportunities and are making a way for us. And how wonderful it is to realize that You are the one who opens them, and thus making it impossible for anything or anyone, including ourselves to shut them and prevent their fulfillment. Thank you for Your continual care and concern for us and continue to use us as You see fit. And this we ask in Jesus’s name. AMEN
