Thought For Today: “God’s Grace Over Satan’s Lies”
There are two lies Satan wants us to believe. First, just once won’t hurt, and second, now that we have sinned, we’re beyond God’s forgiveness.
But this sort of thinking doesn’t coincide with God’s word.
In Romans 5:20-21 it says, “Where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
We are also saved from the Satan’s curse of sin and death in what the Apostle Paul tells us in Ephesians 2:8-9. “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”
So, instead of believing in the lies of Satan which will lead only to sin and death, let’s believe in the truth of God’s word which leads to salvation and the righteousness of God.
