Thought For Today: “God, Science, and Nature’s Laws”
Science observes our world and discovers a pattern in how it operates and attaches it to a law. They call it the “laws of nature.” Through these laws they are then able to predict the course of nature’s phenomenon.
But what science is actually observing is the path of God’s power and wisdom in which He took to create the universe. It was then the Lord God who created what science calls nature’s laws.
“I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place … The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” (Psalm 8:3; 19:1)
Paul said, “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.” (Romans 1:20)
