Thought For Today: “God Gave It All”

God gave the gift of His Son, Jesus, for sinners.

“So if God gave them the same gift he gave us who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could stand in God’s way?” (Acts 11:17)

God gave the gift of His Word, the Bible, for direction.

“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” (Psalm 119:105)

And God gave the gift of His Spirit, the Holy Spirit, for empowerment.

“If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” (Luke 13:11)

BUT, Most of All, Jesus gave His life so that we could live.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
