Modern Christianity has gotten to the point where confession is no longer essential to living a Christian life, or to salvation. The unfortunate reality is that there has been a compromise of Christian beliefs and values, so much so that now discussion is about how many of these beliefs and values can be eliminated. But the Bible knows of no such faith.
