A Prayer for Guidance

The following prayer was taken from my past devotionals over these last several months.
• Lord, breathe new life into me and give me Your plan and purpose for my life and for the life of Your people.
• I will continue to cry out to you, for Your mighty hand, and for You to intercede in the matters that are before me. Hear my cry and rescue me.
• O Lord, hear! Of Lord, forgive! O Lord, listen and take action! Not for my sake, but for Your holy name’s sake.
• Lord, open up this new way and give me a discerning spirit to see and move forward in it.
• Lord I need Your help and Your presence. Forgive me and fill me to fullness so that I may complete Your purpose for Your kingdom.
• May You now, in this brief moment of grace, set me securely in Your presence. Raise up Your house, restore its ruins and establish Your kingdom in my heart and in this land.
• Like the disciples on the Emmaus Road I cannot figure this whole thing out. Please come alongside and show me what you are doing. I need Your words of guidance, comfort, and hope.
• And so now, O Lord, according to Your word of promise and love, establish that dream and vision and let it no longer languish in my heart and soul.
The Lord says, “Do not fear! Stand by and see the salvation of the LORD which He will accomplish for you today.” (Exodus 14:13a NAS)
