An Easter Thought: “Get Refocused for Easter”

“I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.” (John 11:25)

Easter helps us refocus. Life is tough. There’s nothing easy about life. But Easter helps us shift our focus from the temporary to the eternal, where hope is restored, and our purpose is renewed.

While we all face hardships in life, Easter reminds us that Jesus died for our sins and rose on the third day, giving us hope for a bright future in heaven. Easter also renews our joy and peace and helps us shift our perspective.

Therefore, let’s stay focused on what lies ahead because of Easter, and not dwell on the problems life presents.

Let’s follow David’s example and pray, “Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous Spirit.” (Psalm 51:12)

This is the hope of Easter, the hope of resurrection.
