This Weekend’s A Scripture and a Prayer: “Light Defeats Darkness”

“And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.” (John 1:5)

Prayer:

Lord, what a wonderful promise, that where Your light shines, Satan’s darkness cannot penetrate. Therefore, I pray that Your light shine brightly in every dark and desperate situation that we face. I also pray that Your light guides us through the dark valleys where death casts it’s shadows of fear. And may we always reflect upon the truth that in Jesus we have life, and that life is the light that shines Your glory upon all humanity. Help us therefore to always walk in the light of Your love. And this we ask in Jesus’s name. AMEN
