A Scripture and a Prayer: “Our Forever God”

“For this God is our God for ever and ever; He will be our guide even to the end.” (Psalm 48:14)

Prayer:

Lord, You are from everlasting to everlasting, and Your faithfulness is steadfast, and for this we cannot thank you enough. And this is because we’re not as faithful as we should be. But still You remain faithful.  And this faithfulness extends into eternity with You in heaven. But You also extend it to right here and now, as You guide us in the way that we should go, the direction we should take, and the words we speak. Therefore, I humbly ask that You would open Your word to our hearts, souls, and spirits, and to be that lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path so that we do not stumble and fall. And this I ask in Jesus’s name. AMEN
