Thought for Today: “Truth Brings Acceptance”

Jesus Christ – Rejected by the world but accepted by those seeking the truth. Jesus is the only way.

“He is despised and rejected by men, a Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.” (Isaiah 53:3)

“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.’” (John 14:6)

We live in a world that continues to reject Jesus because they live in darkness, and they don’t want to know anything but their own truth. But for those who truly seek after God, He opens to them the truth about this world, and the truth about Himself, and how He came to set them free.

And so, when we know the truth, we can then accept not only the reality of God, but of His salvation through Jesus Christ, who is the only way, the only truth, and the only life who give eternal life.
