Thursday’s Scripture and a Prayer: “Restore and Revive”

“Restore us, O Lord God of hosts; cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved … Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?” (Psalm 80:19; 85:6)

Prayer:

Gracious Heavenly Father, I humbly ask that You restore and revive us. We are in great need of such a restoration and revival. Evil is prevailing throughout the world as Satan has his hands all over this economic crisis and social upheaval bringing fear into the hearts of most everyone, even within the hearts of Your people and in Your church. Therefore, Lord, will You not rend the heavens and come down to make Your name known so that the nations may tremble at Your presence. This I humbly ask in Jesus’s name. AMEN
