Monday’s 333 Devotional: Prayers for God’s Breakthrough
Many are living in bondage, bound to sin and all that holds them back from becoming everything that God has called for us to be. When thinking about his, these Scriptures came to mind.
Psalm 121:1-2
Start by looking to the Lord God, and to Him alone, and not to man or religion and the religious trappings and traditions that come with putting man and religion in the place of God
“I will lift up my eyes to the hills– from whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.” (Psalm 121:1-2)
Hebrews 12:1-2
Jesus came and died upon the cross and rose the third day. He came down from heaven to earth to set us free, and to give us the ultimate spiritual breakthrough; salvation (John 3:16). But there needs to be repentance, that is, a turning away from our sinful life and a turning towards the Lord God which is what God requires.
“Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Hebrews 12:1-2)
Isaiah 64:1,3
And then, ask the Lord to come down in power and shake loose everything that is holding and binding us from becoming everything that God has called us to become.
“Oh, that You would rend the heavens! That You would come down! That the mountains might shake at Your presence. … When You did awesome things for which we did not look, You came down, the mountains shook at Your presence.” (Isaiah 64:1, 3)
The Final Step is to make these verses personal.
