A Scripture and a Prayer: “No Shame in Belief”

“For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.” (2 Timothy 1:12)

Prayer:

Lord, give us the courage to face the various, trials, temptations, sufferings, and persecutions we encounter as believers in Jesus Christ. And on top of that, give us the courage, patience, and strength to unashamedly proclaim You, Lord Jesus, to this world. And please, Lord, give us the faith to continue, always believing in Your word of promise that You will keep us through all these trials with the knowledge that once the sufferings of this world have ended, we will be forever in Your glorious presence. Therefore, thank you Lord for the grace and mercy You provide as we wait for that Day when You return for Your church. And this we ask in the wonderful and precious name of Jesus. AMEN
