A Scripture and a Prayer: “Joined With God”

“He who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him … Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?” (1 Corinthians 6:17, 19)

Prayer:

O my Lord, I cannot fathom the wonder of Your love towards us, allowing us to be one in heart, soul, and spirit with You. Even the thought of it is beyond our ability to fully comprehend. But even knowing that You have placed within these vessels Your Holy Spirit makes mine, as well as all of our hearts leap for joy. May we truly be found as that vessel of honor lifting our praise and worship for the glorious grace You have extended. May we be those living sacrifices, holy and acceptable to You. AMEN
