Thought For Today: “Jesus Has Risen Indeed”

“But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty.” (1 Corinthians 15:13-14)

Satan has done his best to discredit the resurrection, because everything hinges upon this one great event. Satan has produced many theories, thinking that if people see enough smoke they must conclude there’s a fire.

But the evidence is unmistakable; no body has been found; the disciples willingly died for this fact that the tomb was indeed empty and Christ has risen. If it were a lie, then at least one of them would have recanted prior to their martyrdom.

But the tomb is empty and Jesus has risen, and thus all those believe can be saved.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” (1 Peter 1:3)
