A Scripture and a Prayer: “Inexpressible Joy”
“Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy.” (1 Peter 1:8)
Prayer:
Father of all grace and mercy, how can we possibly express the fullness of the joy that fills our hearts knowing of Your wonderful love towards us, in that while we were still sinners and distant from You, You gave Your Son, Jesus Christ, to die for us, to forgive our sins, and to not only bring us into a living and loving relationship with You, but that You, Jesus, are even now preparing a place for us in heaven. And so, our hearts rejoice in You with inexpressible and glorious joy. AMEN
