A Scripture and a Prayer: “If You Will Believe”

“I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!” (Mark 9:24)

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, we are really no different than that father when Jesus asked him if he truly believed if You could heal his son. And like that father we do believe, but far too often doubt raises its ugly head and stops the work that You desire to do in our lives, but also in the lives of those that we are praying for. And so, Lord, let us full heartedly believe in You and in Your word of promise for our lives and for Your people, but we also humbly ask that You forgive our doubts so that we can move in Your perfect love in whatever situation we find ourselves in, and in the situations of those that we are praying for. And all of this I ask in Your name Lord Jesus. AMEN
