Thought for Today: “God’s Love Letters”

God sends to this world personal letters of His love. But these letters aren’t written with ink; rather they are living, breathing, flesh and blood letters; living messages.

What are these letters? We are those letters!

“You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everyone. You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.” (2 Corinthians 3:2-3)

Paul knew this world would not read or understand God’s word, and that’s because they are from the natural world, while God’s word is spiritual (1 Corinthians 2:14).

And so, God sends us as those living, breathing, and walking Scriptures, His love letters.
