A Scripture and a Prayer: “God’s Extended Mercy”

“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16)

Prayer:

Lord, what a wonderful promise You have given, that we can in everything by prayer and supplication come before Your very throne to obtain Your mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Therefore, we come to You, Lord Jesus, not only as our Great High Priest, but as our wounded healer who is no one less than our Savior and Lord to praise the goodness and grace You have extended to us at this our time of need. May we truly be grateful for all that You have done, and for what You are going to do in our lives and the lives of those in need. AMEN
