Scripture and a Prayer: “God is Always for Our Good”

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28)

Prayer:

Lord, what a wonderful promise You have given, how You will work all things, both the good and the bad, for the good of Your kingdom’s purposes. But Lord, forgive us because sometimes it is hard to understand how You can bring beauty out from the ashes that we have made of our lives. It is hard to see how You can mend the broken pieces of our lives and make us whole again. Yet Your promises are true and faithful, and this we believe, but like the father of the son Jesus healed, we ask, “Help our unbelief.” Help us Lord, and through the trials that come our way, and the tribulations we go through, transform us, and make us more into the image of Your Son, Jesus Christ. AMEN
