God Has Made A Way

God placed into the law a way by which people can flee to the city of refuge to save their lives. He told them to “prepare roads” so the people who have committed murder unintentionally can get to them quickly and safely so that their lives might be saved. (Deuteronomy 19:1-3)

God in like way has prepared a road for everyone today to make it to the heavenly Jerusalem, the ultimate city of refuge. God is our refuge and salvation, and He has prepared the way where we who are His enemies can run to Him.

We are murderers. We are all enemies of the Lord God. But God through His Son, Jesus Christ, has made a way; He has prepared a road by which we can save our lives and make it to His city of refuge.

“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.” (Romans 5:8-10 NKJV)

God is within easy reach, and has prepared the way for us to reach out to Him. He also isn’t far from any of us, instead He’s right outside the door of our hearts, and if we would just listen and let Him in, He’ll come in and have communion with us.

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” (Revelation 3:20 NKJV)

If times of disappointment and temptations are overwhelming you, then God gives you a way of escape as well (1 Corinthians 10:13).
God has made a way; all we have to do is take it.
