A Scripture and a Prayer: “From Death to Life”

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.” (John 5:24)

Prayer:

Lord, By Your unchanging word let us take hold of this precious promise, passing from judgment and death into everlasting life with You in heaven. Thank you, Lord, for Your amazing grace that has accomplished this wonderful work of deliverance from sin and death, and into life eternal in Your presence. Help us, therefore, not to take You for granted or Your marvelous grace that has accomplished such a feat within us. And this I ask in Jesus’s precious name. AMEN
