Tuesday’s Scripture and a Prayer: “A Living Example”

“Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” (1 Timothy 4:12)

Prayer:

Lord, please help us not to harbor a spirit of offense, so that we do not become offended by the actions, attitudes, and words of others as to our fitness or ability to serve You as You have called. Instead, let our attitude and language towards others, and how we conduct ourselves by faith and in moral purity be an example of Your love towards us, and then of Your love for others. For You have truly called us to walk in Your ways, honoring You in all that we do. And this we humbly ask in Jesus’s holy name, AMEN
