A Scripture and a Prayer: “Prayers of Faith”

“And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.” (James 5:15)

Prayer:

Lord, we know that it all boils down to whether we believe in You and in Your promises. Jesus, You said that if we just had the faith of a mustard seed, then we could move these mountains that have risen in our lives and have them removed. Even the smallest of faith can see miracles done. Even the father of the demon possessed son knew this to be true, when You said, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” And he cried out in tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” Therefore, Lord, help us to put away all doubt that creeps into our thinking and faith in You. AMEN
