A Scripture and a Prayer: “The Gospel: The Power of God”

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation.” (Romans 1:16)

Prayer:

Lord, may we never be ashamed of the wonderful news of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and how He came to this lost and sin-filled world to die for our sins and to bring us salvation and eternal life. May we never hold back in our proclamation of gospel message because it is the hope of salvation to all who will hear and believe. And through this message we all receive Your life, light, and love through such belief. Therefore, Lord, give us the strength and courage to share this wonderful news to everyone we meet, holding nothing back because it is power to produce faith leading to salvation. And this I ask in Jesus’s precious name. AMEN
