A Scripture and a Prayer: “Be Intentional”

“Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways. Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil.” (Proverbs 4:25-27)

Prayer:

Lord, may we live our lives intentionally for You. But to do so we need to constantly have our eyes fixed upon You, while we live our lives and walk upon the paths You have chosen. Help us, therefore, Lord to be steadfast, always moving forward, and not allow ourselves to be sidetracked by something that may seem good, but it is not what You have called for our lives. Help us not turn off the path You have chosen and keep us from walking on the wide road of this world that leads to eternal death, but rather, keep us upon the narrow road that leads directly to You. And this I ask in Jesus’s name. AMEN
