A Scripture and a Prayer: “My Strength and Portion”

“My flesh and my heart fail; but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” (Psalm 73:26)

Prayer:

Lord, I realize just how frail we are, and how quickly we can fail and fall. Therefore, thank you for Your never-ending goodness, grace, and mercy that gives our frail and feeble hearts the strength to carry on when all we want to do is quite and hide ourselves in some corner. Further, being our portion. You are bigger and greater than anything that may come our way. Therefore, thank you, Lord, for being the strength of our hearts, and the fullness of our souls and spirits. AMEN
