Thought For Today: “Pray, Something Will Happen”

We’re told to take everything to God in prayer.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)

Jesus said whatever we ask in His name the Father will do.

“In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.” (John 16:23)

Finally, we’re told that nothing is too hard for the Lord.

“I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?” (Jeremiah 32:27)

Why then aren’t we praying?
