Scripture and a Prayer: “The Graciousness of God”

“The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and great in mercy.” (Psalm 145:8)

Prayer:

Lord, when I see how much You love us, and when I see Your wonderful grace and compassion being poured out upon us in our times of distress and need, I am truly amazed at how undeserving we are and how merciful You are. When I see how great Your mercy is towards us when our sin dictates otherwise, it is overwhelming. We can truly do nothing less than thank and praise You. “For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised.” AMEN
