Scripture and a Prayer: “Truth verses Lies”

“Truthful words stand the test of time, but lies are soon exposed.” (Proverbs 12:19)

Prayer:

Years ago, there was a song whose chorus said, “Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies.” But what I need to always remember is that Satan is the father of lies, and the last thing that I want is to hear the lies of Satan, rather than the truth of God’s word, because God said that His Word is truth. Therefore, may we always speak God’s truth, His Word, to others, and may we never add to them, because the Lord said that if we do, we would be found to be liars. So, thank You Lord for giving Your words of truth that will guide us on the right path, the narrow road that leads to everlasting life. And this I ask in Jesus’s name. AMEN
