A Scripture and a Prayer: “A Faithful Shield”

“He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.” (Psalm 91:4)

Prayer:

Lord, what a wonderful promise You have given, that no matter what situations and circumstances that come, You will be our refuge and fortress, our shield and my defense to cover and protect us through the trials that upon us, or are lying ahead. And what is even more precious is knowing that You are faithful to keep what You have said. But there is even more, and that is none of it depends on our faithfulness, but upon Yours, which is what Paul tells us that if we are faithless, You remain faithful, because You cannot deny Yourself. AMEN
