A Scripture and a Prayer: “A Secure Hope”

“We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf.” (Hebrews 6:19-20)

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for the wonderful assurance and hope that You have given us. A hope that anchors our soul to You and Your heavenly Mercy Seat. It is a hope of Your amazing grace that has been poured out upon us as Your people. Therefore, thank you Jesus for the unconditional love You have given through the unselfish sacrifice You made upon the cross, and the blood You shed to free our soul and to forgive our sins. May we always be aware of this great sacrifice, so we never forget Your wonderous love. AMEN
