A Scripture and a Prayer: “Keep Looking Up”

“Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross.” (Hebrews 12:2a)

Prayer:

Lord, throughout out Your word You continue to tell us to look up. You tell us that in the End of Days we are to look up, to lift our heads to You, because our redemption is near. And we see this in the song of Ascents when we’re told to life up our eyes to the hills, because our help comes from You. And so, in the Spirit we will continue to look unto You, Lord Jesus, because you are the author and perfector of our faith, through the sacrifice You made upon the cross. And for this privilege, I thank you. AMEN
