A Scripture and a Prayer: “Walk This Way”

“Whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.” (1 John 2:6)

Prayer:

Lord, You have given us abundant life, and one that is everlasting. But such a life can only be attained when it is lived out in and through You. Jesus, when You washed the disciples’ feet you said, “For I have given you an example, that you also should do just as I have done to you.” Help us Lord to both apply and embody Your word in our lives, where Your word is lived out and is making a difference, not only in our lives, but in the lives of others and in this world. Give us the courage then to walk the walk and talk the talk that glorifies You and You only. And this I ask in Jesus’s name. AMEN
