A Scripture and a Prayer: “God Hears and Delivers”

“The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.” (Psalm 34:17)

Prayer:

Lord thank you for this wonderful promise that our prayers are not just hitting the ceiling and falling back unheard and unanswered. Instead, You hear our prayers because You are close to the broken hearted and those who are crushed in spirit. You, Lord, are faithful and Your mercies are new every single day. And so, may we give You all praise and glory as You don’t turn away when we cry out to You, and that You indeed will answer. AMEN
